Mountfield 1530H 84cm Lawn Tractor is for gardens up to 1.5 acres in size this garden tractor offers the power and versatility you need. The hydrostatic transmission (similar to using an automatic car) and 84cm cut width will make light work of large grassy areas along with a whopping 240-litre rear-mounted grass collector.
To efficiently cut large, grassed areas you need a powerful garden tractor. However, you still need a model that is manoeuvrable, proficient, and possibly narrow enough to squeeze through the width of a standard garden gate. The 1530H has it all, and a little bit more.
With a punchy 414cc ST 400 Stiga engine, it features hydrostatic transmission – for extra ease of control. Add in the 84cm width cut and you have a garden tractor that can cut a large lawn extremely quickly. The twin-bladed cutter deck and 7 cutting height positions ranging from 25-80mm produce a superior cut to rival other tractors in its class.
The seating position is raised, and visibility is ultra-clear. Clippings are collected in the cavernous 240-litre rear-mounted collection basket, and that can be easily emptied by the driver without ever leaving the driving seat. Alternatively, you can purchase a mulching plug as an optional extra and have the grass clipping finely cut and redistributed back onto the lawn surface where they add vital nutrients to the soil supporting your lawn.
The underside of the deck needs to be kept clean to maintain optimum cutting performance and avoid the deck rusting – a handy washing link will allow you to clean your deck after each cut quickly and efficiently.
