The Freedom 28e is a battery lawn rider that has been designed and engineered to easily manage complex gardens and lawned areas up to 1500sqm. Power

Engineered around the 4 removable, smart 5Ah batteries that will intelligently synchronise while the Freedom 28E is mowing. They will produce more than enough power and efficiency for greater run-times to cope with gardens up to ½ acre in size. The design is part of the very latest E-power battery technology and the 48V lithium-Ion batteries have been stress tested way beyond the industry standard to deliver a high-performance capacity and are still going strong after 600 charges

The batteries have the added bonus of being completely interchangeable with the handheld products that feature in the freedom500 cordless range making this rider an extremely versatile and great value option.

The Cut

The 72cm wide cutting deck is constructed from a high impact polymer which also gives great shock-absorbing qualities. This also makes the Mountfield Freedom 28e a lot quieter in operation, so you could even mow the lawn on that sleepy Sunday morning!

Collection

Two contra-rotating blades that are engaged at the touch of a button make cutting precise and very energy efficient. The cuttings are blown at speed through a unique central grass duct into the 150-litre rear-mounted grass collector.

Other features include a washing link allowing for easy maintenance of the underside of the deck along with 6 cutting height positions ranging from 30–80mm. This model comes with 4 x 48V 5Ah batteries and a charger included.
