Product description
When you’re asking for the most compact and versatile folding saw, the answer is undoubtedly the Pocketboy. With the introduction of the Pocketboy Outback Edition, Silky transcends all the expectations of hunters and bushcrafters.
A thick and rigid saw blade makes this Pocketboy Outback Edition 100% outdoor proof. Silky applied a black coating of a unique nickel and tin blend to the entire blade, including the teeth. This provides a long blade life and an incredible cutting performance, not only in wood but also when sawing bones. In addition, the dark, non-reflective color makes this saw particularly suitable for tactical operations.
The blade securely locks in two different positions with the locking mechanism. And when the blade is folded, the sharp teeth are safely covered as they are completely concealed in the handle. When you are going to use the saw, the blade can simply be unfolded thanks to the notch in the blade, even when wearing gloves.
The arbor composite handle is made of a wood/plastic composition, giving a warm and comfortable touch and superior control. The feel is a bit harder than the usual GOM rubber handle from Silky, but it offers more grip with greasy substances. Take this saw with you wherever you go; the Pocketboy Outback Edition is compact, lightweight and comes standard with a transparent hard case.
The Outback Edition is exclusively available through our specialized distributors because of the specialized blade…
