Perfect for use in compact spaces such as low bushes.
Everything about this petrol brushcutter is designed to help you tackle even the biggest areas that need trimming. To start with, the loop handle grip is there to help you effortlessly control the FS94 RC-E Strimmer through the tightest of spots. Using the machine in a conventional manner, you can get under low hedges or above high shrubbery, whilst enjoying vibration-free operation.
Stihl has developed an efficient anti-vibration set-up, as the cutter of the machine spins, any wavering through the frame is dampened. This results in a reduction of annoying vibrations through the handles to your hands, meaning you can operate for longer.
Furthermore, the addition of the shoulder harness will help reduce any strain on your lower back, as you use the grass trimmer over large landscapes – further reducing fatigue.
Also, the 0.54-litre fuel tank is perfect for keeping you on the go for longer. The more fuel you can carry, the fewer stops you have to make. Even full of fuel, this is still a considerably light strimmer to operate.
Highly powerful but with less fuel usage.
Powering the Stihl FS94RC-E is a 24.1cc two-stroke engine with reducing emissions technology. Improvements in increasing airflow between strokes reduce the amount of fuel lost. Not only will this improve fuel economy, but it results in more power with fewer exhaust fumes. This engine advancement has improved fuel consumption by 20% compared to similar 2-stroke models.
Stihl has also designed the Stihl FS 94 RCE petrol strimmer with a super simple start-up procedure. Just set the choke, a quick press of a button to prime with fuel, pull the starting cord – the engine fires with zero hassle. Thanks to the ErgoStart, less force and effort are required to get this started than other brushcutter models.
Another great advantage of this machine is, when your briefly stop, the ignition activates automatically meaning it’s always ready to start again. With the ecospeed control, the brushcutter’s engine can be controlled with precision via the handles.
Features We Like
Reduced-emission engine technology
2-stroke engine with stratified charge. A fuel-free layer of air is created between the burned charge in the combustion chamber and the fresh charge in the crankcase, reducing the amount of fuel lost during the charge cycle. This results in more power with a lower weight, up to 20% lower fuel consumption than regular 2-stroke engines and significantly reduced exhaust emissions.
Manual fuel pump (Purger)
A small fuel pump delivers fuel to the carburettor at the touch of a button. This reduces the number of starting strokes required following extended breaks in operations.
STIHL ErgoStart (E)
STIHL ErgoStart cuts the effort required to start the tool by half, while the starter cord can be pulled at just one third of the normal force. A coil spring between the starter cord and the crankshaft smoothes out force peaks, making them virtually undetectable through the cord itself.
Simplified starting system
Simply set the choke, pump the fuel primer, pull the starter cord and away you go! The running machine then switches off after a brief press of the stop button. Once the machine is at a standstill, the ignition activates again automatically. Thus the ignition is always ready for starting.
Loop handle (R)
The loop handled grass trimmers and brushcutters are ideal for working in areas where space is limited, e.g. thinning between bushes and shrubs.
STIHL ECOSPEED
STIHL ECOSPEED enables the user to control the brushcutter engine speed individually on the operating handle.
Anti-vibration system
Intense vibration at the handles of power tools can lead to long-term effects on blood vessels in the hands and arms. STIHL has therefore developed an effective anti-vibration system whereby the oscillations from the machine’s engine are dampened which significantly reduces vibrations at the handles.
