Stihl iMOW® Evo Robotic Lawn Mower

The Stihl iMOW® Evo is a fully automatic robotic mulching lawn mower is now available in 3 versions depending on the lawn area coverage required. The new mowing system has 3 free-swinging blades, electric cut-height adjustment between 20 – 60 mm, situational speed adjustment, and 45% incline capability, ensuring an outstanding mowing result and a clean cut. Incline capability can be increased to a maximum of 60% using iMOW® Upgrade Kit 10, available as an accessory.

The intuitive control of this robotic mower can be done via the MY iMOW® app over wifi, Bluetooth®, model network, or via a simple operational panel on the iMOW® itself. The app allows users to create customised mowing plans and set pre-determined lawn zones, offering greater flexibility and time to enjoy your garden.

Visual communication is also available via the LED strips on the front and rear of the machine and the LED matrix on the top hood. An ultrasonic sensor detects obstacles before making contact and changes the drive direction automatically. The intelligent docking function and efficient charge management help keep the robotic mower’s busy mowing times short. Its quiet operation and simple installation make it an ideal solution for any lawn.

Each delivery includes an iMOW® robotic mower, docking station, four pegs, nine spare blades, and an iMOW® ruler.

2023 Stihl iMOW® Options

Stihl has recently launched their new iMOW® robotic lawn mowers designed to offer an efficient, automatic solution for maintaining lawns of various sizes. The new iMOW® options for 2023 are:

• iMOW® 5 EVO – For Lawns Measuring Up To 1,500 m²
• iMOW® 6 EVO- For Lawns Measuring Up To 3,000 m²
• iMOW® 7 EVO- For Lawns Measuring Up To 5,000 m²

STIHL offers several strategies for returning to the base for less ground marking and more autonomy in mowing.

Electric height adjustment

20-60cm and 15 adjustable increments via the MY IMOW application.

Disc-cut system

In case of blockage, the cutting plate automatically positions itself towards the highest position to release the IMOW robot. It is equipped with 3 pivotable “cutter” blades, 4 cutting edges for longer life and quick and tool-free replacement.

All IMOW robots benefit from Bluetooth or wifi connectivity for effective and smooth control through the MY IMOW application. The EVO version differs with its own 4G connection (with integrated SIM card).

High cutting performance with a blade rotation speed of 35m/s and high protection against projections thanks to the cutting plate.

Dedicated to the existing and new range, the new IMOW application allows:

• Managing the cutting height
• Adjusting the rain sensor sensitivity
• Fixing the robot’s starting points
• Managing mowing areas

The IMOW EVO robot can maintain lawns on steep slopes up to 45% and 60% with a special wheel kit.

These robots are connected via Bluetooth or wifi for generic models and via 4G for more advanced EVO models. The mulching mowing robot will improve the quality of the lawn while also reducing noise with a measured sound level of between 59 and 60 dB.

STIHL has added guide wires to this new range to facilitate the robot’s return to its charging base as quickly as possible with minimal ground marking.
