Stihl KM111R Petrol Kombi Engine

The Stihl KM111R Kombi Engine with it’s newly updated 4-MIX engine, replaces its predecessor (the KM100R), in performance. An easier starting method, a bigger tank for fuel and a larger fuel tank and an easy to handle loop grip operation, are just some of the upgraded additions. Therefore, you can operate the tool longer with less fatigue.

Start and restart with no fuss.

An upgrade to the starter feature means a simple but efficient start/ stop functions. Featuring a manual fuel pump, this allows the engine to start with less strokes. Combine this with the decompression valve, less force is required to get it started by pulling the starter rope.

Compatible with all KombiTools

Another great feature of the Stihl KM111R Kombi Engine, is it can be used with the full range of Kombi Tools including blowers, bristle brushes and edge trimmers. With twelve attachments in total, there is a tool for every job, which can all be easily swapped between using the quick release coupling system. Take the weight of and improve productivity with the shoulder harness attachment, perfect for the large working areas to reduce strain.

Manual fuel pump

The manual fuel pump makes starting the tool easier. Pressing the pump ensures fewer strokes are required to start the tool as sufficient fuel is present within the carburettor.

Loop handle (R)

The loop handled grass trimmers and brushcutters are ideal for working in areas where space is limited, e.g. thinning between bushes and shrubs.

Multi-function handle with stop button

All the engine controls can be controlled with just one hand featuring a stop switch which automatically reverts back to the start position for a quicker, simple restart.

Air filter with long service life

The easily accessible paper filter with a long service life means it can go for long intervals without changing. (similar to illustration)

Stop switch

The multi-function control handle features a stop switch which automatically reverts back to the start position for a quicker, simple restart.

Decompression system

The decompression valve allows some of the compression pressure in the cylinder to escape, so less force on the starter rope is needed.

Quick-release coupling

The quick-release coupling allows the KombiSystem to be quickly dismantled into two parts for easy transport and storage – and then re-assembled quickly without tools.

Shoulder strap / carrying system

Using a STIHL shoulder strap or carrying harness with soft padding makes work more comfortable, particularly during lengthy jobs.

Anti-vibration system

Intense vibration at the handles of power tools can lead to long-term effects on blood vessels in the hands and arms. STIHL has therefore developed an effective anti-vibration system whereby the oscillations from the machine’s engine are dampened which significantly reduces vibrations at the handles.
