Introducing the Stihl KMA 130 R, a high performing cordless Kombi Engine.
Everything about this Kombi Engine is built for efficiency and purpose. For example, the beauty of a cordless power system is there are no horrible petrol fumes or emissions, this means the KMA 130 R is echo friendly.
Additionally, without the noisy petrol motor, the battery-powered motor is much quieter. The combination of these benefits means this machine can be used in any setting. Without the presence of excessive noise and exhaust fumes, this Stihl product can be used outside working hours, inside buildings and without the need to carry fuel
Furthermore, the anti-vibration technology combined with the smooth electrical torque motor means there is hardly any juddering. It’s a huge benefit should you need to use the KombiTools for extensive periods of time.
Comfortable, lightweight and easy to use.
This Stihl’s KMA 130R electric motor (EC) has been designed to be extremely efficient, lightweight and compact and does not require servicing! The operating handle with speed regulation allows you to regulate the speed of the engine which helps to save energy and extend the battery life to give more working time from a single charge of the battery.
This operating handle has “Operator Presence Control” with a self-resetting locking lever to prevent unintentional starting of the device. The loop handle design is ideal for working in areas where space is limited such as thinning between bushes and shrubs.
Designed with a quick-release coupling which allows the KMA130R to be quickly dismantled into two parts for easy transport and storage and then re-assembled quickly without tools.
Cordless Power Options
The KMA range of Kombi systems works with the Stihl AP and AR system batteries.
To transfer power, the socket and the tool is connected to the STIHL AP or AR batteries using the connecting cable. This means that the battery can be conveniently worn on the body.

Quick-release coupling
The quick-release coupling allows the KombiSystem to be quickly dismantled into two parts for easy transport and storage – and then re-assembled quickly without tools.
Operating handle with speed regulation
Depending on the task, the maximum speed can be regulated in three stages. This saves energy and extends the battery life. The operating handle has “Operator Presence Control” with self-resetting locking lever, preventing unintentional starting of the device.
EC-Motor
The STIHL electric motor (EC) is extremely energy efficient, lightweight and compact. It runs quietly, generates very low vibrations and does not require servicing.
