Easy, convenient operation, ergonomic control lever with potentiometer function for infinitely variable speed control, STIHL Quick Chain Tensioning and transparent oil tank with tool-free cap. Sturdy metal bumper spikes for reliable and precise guidance of the chainsaw on wood.
Working time with recommended AP 300 S battery is up to 40 minutes.

Chain Quick Tensioning (B)
After releasing the sprocket cover, the chain can be adjusted using a thumb wheel without needing tools.
Soft grip control handle
Thanks to the soft grip on the control handle, the MSA 300 sits comfortably in hand and can be operated safely. In addition, the soft material improves the user’s grip, which helps when using the MSA 300 in wet conditions.
Two-handled operation
The ergonomically shaped handle and rear control handle with comfortable soft-grip components ensure safe working in all operating positions.
Transparent oil tank
You can easily see when the tank is empty: You can monitor the chain lubrication oil level with the transparent tank. The STIHL OIL filling system can fill the chain oil quickly and easily.
Sturdy clamp end stop
Make sawing safer and more precise: A clamp end stop fixes the device to the wood, permitting a precise cut.
STIHL Electric Motor (EC)
The STIHL electric motor (EC) is extremely energy efficient, lightweight and compact. It runs quietly, generates very low vibrations and does not require servicing.
