STIHL Quick Chain Tensioning (B)

The STIHL quick chain tensioning system (B) makes tensioning the saw chain very easy. After loosening the screw connection of the sprocket cover, the saw chain can be tensioned quickly and easily with the adjusting wheel above. No tools are required for this.Transparent oil tank

You can easily see when the tank is empty: With the transparent tank, you can keep an eye on the chain lubrication oil level. The STIHL OIL filling system can fill the chain oil quickly and easily.

Intermediate battery position in the device

The battery can be inserted into the device in 2 stages. In the first locking stage – the intermediate position – the battery is secured in the machine but does not touch the contacts. In the second locking stage – the operating position – the battery is completely inserted and touches the references in the machine.

The EC motor gets up to 55% more power from the battery and protects it simultaneously – because the battery life increases by up to 70%. Its low weight, compact dimensions, and almost wear-free mechanics impress.
