Convenient performance with the electric MSE 140 C-BQ Chainsaw
Stihl’s MSE140 C is powered by a 230v supply with 1.4kW of sawing power, which means it’s powerful enough for pruning and trimming small branches. Safety is also an important feature, with its quick stop safety function as soon as you let go of the throttle, the chain will come to an almost immediate halt.
Furthermore, the CQT (Chain Quick Tensioner) means the bar and chain can be adjusted, removed and refitted without any tools. This means, switching from the 12″ or 14″ bar is effortless.
Being electric, there is no need to worry about the amount of fuel you have to carry around, although you do have to worry about the length of your cable. The reasonably long 13 feet cable length is ideal for carrying out tasks around a small garden or workshop. Obviously, this can be increased dramatically with an extension lead.
Additionally, don’t think that the value price means there is a lack of performance. The MSE 140 C-BQ will be unchallenged by felling small trees, hedges and cutting up firewood.
Finally, the quietness of the electric motor means it can be used in noise-sensitive environments.

QuickStop Super Chain Break (Q)
The QuickStop Super chain brake is an additional braking system. The system is activated as soon as the operator’s hand comes out of contact with the rear handle.
Easy chain oil filling
The chain oil can be easily refilled due to the location of the oil filler cap.
Overload protection
High performance without overloading: If your electric chainsaw overheats, it will automatically switch the engine off by triggering the red overload button. The engine will cool down after a few moments and you will be able to continue working.
Cable strain relief
The cable strain relief prevents the power cable from being accidentally disconnected when in use.
Transparent oil tank
Quick and convenient visibility of chain oil levels due to the transparent chain oil tank.
Ematic chain lubrication system
The Ematic chain lubrication system ensures pinpoint lubrication of the saw chain links and guide bar rails. When used with STIHL OILOMATIC saw chain, it will provide maximum lubrication, longer wear and less oil consumption than conventional methods of chain lubrication. The Ematic system can reduce bar oil consumption up to 50%.
