The Stihl RMA 448 VC is a superb battery powered cordless lawn mower with a variable speed drive.

Overview

A Powerful cordless lawn mower with a big cutting width and variable speed drive, which can be adjusted by a lever on the handlebar. The Stihl RMA 448 VC It will tackle large lawns no problem and with the onboard  Vario drive, it may be adjusted between 2 and 3 / 3.7 and 4.5 km/h to suit your needs.
The adjustable comfort handlebar is designed for more of a pleasant mowing session and all made simpler for emptying with the foldable 55-litre grass collecting box with fill level indicator.
A longer battery life is ensured with a cutting width 46 cm / 18″ and central cut-height adjustment, automatic eco mode, and flow-optimized blades.
The recommended AP 300 battery has a working area of approx 400 m2 and the overall design is finished with a polymer housing.

Carrying handles

For easy transport, the STIHL battery-powered lawn mower includes two carrying handles built into the housing. They make loading and returning the cordless mower to its upright position much easier. The carrying handles can also be used as lashing points, such as when transporting a lawn mower with a strap.

Foldable Grass Catcher

The ingenious grass collector box is constructed of plastic and has an easy-to-open and empty folding mechanism. The air current created by mowing propels the clippings into the grass collecting box, ensuring optimal filling. Special vanes in the box direct air toward the ground, shielding both the operator and the lawn mower from thrown-up dust and grime.

The level indicator indicates when it is time to empty. The blade’s airflow lifts the level indication. When the basket is completely full, the airflow is cut off. If the airflow is insufficient, the level indicator returns to its idle condition, indicating that the catcher box should be emptied.

The level indicator cannot work properly without adequate ventilation. External effects such as damp, thick, or tall grass, a low cutting height, or pollution may impair airflow and the level indicator’s effectiveness.

Flow-optimised blades

The flow-optimized blade on the Stihl RMA 448 VC cuts the grass with minimum resistance, whirling the air only when absolutely necessary. As a consequence, it uses very little battery capacity, allowing the stored energy to cover the greatest potential area.

Polymer housing

The STIHL battery-powered lawn mowers’ housings are built of a high-quality polymer substance. This ultra-lightweight polymer housing has excellent resistance and sturdiness to pressures, heat, and UV radiation.

Easy-running wheels

Our cordless lawn mowers’ smooth-running wheels are exceptionally durable and long-lasting. They offer a traction pattern and a directional stability tread pattern for easy manoeuvrability and precise line keeping when mowing.

Foldable handlebar

The battery-powered lawn mower can be folded fast and conveniently thanks to its folding handlebar. This allows the Stihl RMA 448 VC lawn mower to be stored or relocated to a new location with ease.

Height-adjustable mono-comfort handlebar

For pleasant and ergonomic mowing, the mono-comfort handlebar may be changed to the necessary body height without the need of equipment. The battery-powered lawn mower’s handlebar may be folded for simpler travel. For easy access and removal, the grass catcher box is positioned on one side.

Eco mode

When eco mode is turned on, the lawn mower motor’s speed is automatically adjusted to match the actual power required. As a result, the STIHL battery-powered lawn mower uses relatively little energy and can cover a bigger area before recharging.

Vario drive

Individual tailoring of the STIHL lawn mower’s speed to specific mowing habits and grass conditions is possible thanks to the Vario self-propulsion system. The control lever on the handlebar may be used to change the mowing pace infinitely.
