Demanding lawns are no match for the RT6127 ZL, with a combination of high power and precise control. Designed with comfort in mind, all the controls are within reach from the driving position. To make it super easy to accelerate to your desired working speed, the single drive pedal working with the hydrostatic gearbox ensures you can control the speed much like an automatic car; the harder you push down, the faster you will go. Feeling a little lazy? Then simply activate to cruise control feature to set your desired speed, and steer to mowing glory. Should you need to a quick change in direction, the reverse and forward gear lever are located on the steering column – allowing speedy changes you need to turn around. Combine this with the outstanding small turn circle of the garden tractor, you will literally be running rings around any obstacles in your path. Installed with a twin-cylinder 23 HP engine, the Stihl RT 6127 ZL needs large 20-inch wheels on the rear and 16-inch on the front to put down grip. However, these turf tyres are cleverly designed to ensure the grip won’t damage your freshly cut lawn. Save time with an effortless grass cutting system

Stihl’s RT6127ZL comes with an impressive 125-centimetre cutting width, making short work of large lawn areas. We recommend this Stihl ride-on is used for lawns up to 10,000 m² (2.5 acres). To activate the mowing deck, push the button easily in reach on the LCD panel – this engages the blades via an electromagnetic clutch. Optimising the efficiency of your mowers cutting ability is effortless, Stihl’s ride-on mower has a catchment system to feed grass inwards towards the rotating blade. This means the full cutting width is used, lifting the grass for a perfectly neat cut. Additionally, you can adjust the cutting height to one of eight levels, choose a level as low as 30 millimetres to a longer cut up to 110 millimetres. Moving the lever to control the central adjuster is straightforward, it’s location is beside the driver’s seat, making quick changes to maximise a stripey pattern lawn easy peasy.

Dump your grass cutting load when finished

A grass catcher box with a 350-litre capacity is to the rear of the RT 6127 ZL, ideal for making fewer stops on your mower operation. This will compactly store all your grass clippings into a wasteless space until it’s full. A handy “grass catcher box full” light will display on the LCD control panel, to notify you when it’s time to empty. Synchronous mowing deck

Catching management system

The polymer grass catcher box can be emptied effortlessly from the driver’s seat simply using the curved shaped handle. The “dumper” design ensures optimum filling and residual-free emptying of the grass catcher box. Cleaning the catcher box is also easy.

Single pedal drive

With the STIHL single pedal drive, the direction of travel can be conveniently switched between forward and reverse gear using a hand lever for quick manoeuvring. The pressure-sensitive pedal allows for precise control of the speed between top speed and standstill. The separate brake pedal ensures immediate stopping.

Electromagnetic blade clutch (EBC)

The mowing deck can be easily engaged and disengaged by a switch situated on the control panel.

Mulching function

With the mulch insert, the STIHL ride-on mowers can be converted into mulching mowers. The grass catcher box is simply removed and the mulch insert pushed into the grass catcher chute. This allows the grass to be shredded into fine particles inside the closed housing before they fall back into the turf, returning vital nutrients and moisture to the soil. Through this natural form of fertilising, there is no need to dispose of the grass.
