Stihl TS 800 Petrol Disc Cutter 400 mm / 16 Inch

Stihl’s TS 800 petrol cut-off saw has a cutting depth of 145mm and is the top of the line petrol cut-off saw. The saw can be operated either hand-held or with the FW cart. The high-power cut-off saw also has a decompression valve and Stihl ElastoStart, for a quick and easy engine starting to save users’ limbs.

Furthermore, the TS800 has an anti-vibration system, ergonomic grip handle, water supply to the cutting blade, and semi-automatic drive belt tensioners. The Stihl TS 800 is built to improve emissions and fuel efficiency.

With a stratified charge on a 2-stroke engine in the combustion chamber, a layer of clean air is formed between the burned charge and the new charge in the crankcase, which reduces fuel lost during the charging process.

Thus, 2-stroke engines using this technology can achieve higher power with less weight, reduce fuel consumption by up to 20%, and substantially reduce exhaust emissions.

It is built with a Fuel pump with a manual purger.

With the touch of a button, a small fuel pump delivers fuel to the carburettor. Following extended breaks in operations,  reduces the Stihl TS 800 need for starting strokes.

Includes ElastoStart

The Stihl ElastoStart technology reduces the shock that is caused by the engine compression when it starts. In the starter handle, a spring or rubber element removes the compression shock from the user’s joints and muscles.

Water supply

Sprinklers are used to suppress the dust created in the process of cutting through the standard water connection. You will not experience interference with your work when it is supplied to your Stihl TS 800.

Filtering the air before separation

Filter life is longer with the Stihl TS 800 long-life air filtration systems because they use pre-separation instead of conventional filtering. Upon drawing in the air, it swirls. Particles with a larger mass are ejected. Through the pre-separator duct, pre-cleaned air is routed to the air filter.

Anti-vibration system

Hands and arms can become damaged by intense vibrations of power tools. Due to this, Stihl developed an anti-vibration system to reduce vibration at the machine’s handles by dampening the oscillations coming from the engine.

Grips positioned ergonomically.

Designed ergonomically, the Stihl TS 800 enables the user to work with a comfortable grip position. Cutting is exceptionally satisfied with the loop handle, regardless of the place in which it is used.

The tensioning of the drive belt is semi-automatic.

Belts and shaft bearings last longer when they are re-tensioned lightly and consistently.
