Advanced Features of the Stihl TS410 Disc Cutter
As a result of the new technology of the TS410, the new 2-stroke engine has a stratified charge which Stihl describes as a fuel-free layer of air generated between the burned charge in the combustion chamber and the fresh charge in the crankcase.
Equally significant is the reduction of fuel lost during a charge cycle. The result is that it has more power and yet is lighter weight. Compared to the standard 2-stroke engine, the development of this is that you can experience a 20% reduction for lower fuel consumption with reduced emissions.
With just a button push, the pump drives fuel to the carburettor in seconds. The number of starting strokes is now reduced, which results in a quick-to-start machine even when the operation of the device has stop-start breaks.
A running water supply to the cutting disc is easily used by attaching a water connection, like a sprinkler system, that also prevents dust particles from spreading into the air.
