Features We Like
ADVANCE Grip control handles
IMPROVED ERGONOMICS. The innovative design of the ADVANCE Grip handles contributes to better working ergonomics compared to conventional brush cutter handles from STIHL. In addition to the shape, it is above all the lateral locking lever which promotes intuitive use. This makes it easier for you to adapt the position of your hand depending on the work to be done. They are also available in a variant with handle heating. Older models of compatible brush cutters may also be equipped with these handles. Ask your specialist dealer for more information.
STIHL M-tronic
Reliable work and optimal performance. With STIHL M-tronic, your work tool offers you optimal performance from the start. The fully electronic engine management regulates the ignition sequence and fuel dosage in all working situations, taking into account external conditions such as temperature, altitude and fuel quality.
STIHL Ergostart
Effortless start-up. STIHL Ergostart allows you to save energy when starting your devices. Simply pull the starter rope gently and evenly. The speed required on the starter rope is significantly reduced and the engine starts quickly and reliably, even if the rope is pulled slowly. An additional spring between the crankshaft and the starter rope makes this operation even easier.
STIHL 2-stroke stratified scavenging engine
Low energy consumption. The STIHL 2-stroke stratified scavenging engine allows you to reduce exhaust emissions and fuel consumption, and therefore operating costs. This 2-stroke engine requires little maintenance and consumes little fuel, even at high power levels. Use a mixture of gasoline and engine oil as fuel. The STIHL stratified scavenged 2-stroke engine complies with the strict EU Stage V emission limit directive.
One-handed multifunction handle
Comfortable operation. The multifunction handle allows you to operate your machine with one hand, easily and reliably. Since all important operating elements are integrated into the handle, it can be used by both right-handed and left-handed people.
Two-handed grip (handlebar)
It is a particularly ergonomic two-handed tubular handle for mowing. It allows you to perform a natural mowing movement, like with a scythe, and it adjusts very easily using a tourniquet screw. The handlebar is always the indicated option when it comes to mowing large areas with a brush cutter (Similar image).
STIHL anti-vibration system
For more pleasant work. Particularly noticeable vibrations in the grip area may occur when your devices ramp up. The shock absorbers and springs of the STIHL anti-vibration system reduce the transmission of vibrations from the engine to the handle area and therefore to your body. Result: your machine is more comfortable to hold and your work is much less tiring.
Tool-free handlebar adjustment
You can individually adjust the ergonomic handlebar using the central clamping device. The handlebars are designed to be adjustable without tools. It can rotate 90 degrees for space-saving transport and storage.
Compensator
Reduced maintenance. The compensator is a control system placed in the carburetor, which uses pressure compensation to ensure that engine performance, exhaust gas quality and fuel consumption remain virtually constant for a long time, despite fouling crescent of the air filter. There is no need to clean the air filter until you see a noticeable reduction in performance. So you can work for a long time without maintenance being necessary.
Stop button
Quick restart. The power off button allows you, for example, to quickly and easily turn off your device for a short break. When the button returns to its initial position after actuation, the engine is immediately ready to restart. This gives you greater comfort after breaks and allows you to work more efficiently.
Manual fuel pump
For fewer launches. The manual fuel pump reduces the number of cranks needed to start the unit, making the starting process faster and easier. This is particularly useful after long interruptions in operation. To use, prime the pump several times before starting. This will ensure that there is sufficient fuel in the carburetor when starting.
Winter setting
The winter/summer adjustment is very simple and quick using a small sliding lever. This prevents the air filter and carburetor from freezing in winter mode. (Uncontr. im.)
Large fuel tank
The transparent fuel tank with a volume of 0.75l ensures longer work intervals with less stopping to refuel. The level is easily visible from the outside. Refuel effortlessly thanks to the large opening of the very accessible tank. (Image uncontr.)
Long life of air filters
Guarantees long replacement intervals. Thanks to the long life of the easily accessible filter, replacement is infrequent. This results in resource savings and reduced maintenance efforts.
