Start by loosening coarse debris from the bar groove, oil lubrication channel, and cylinder ribs of your STIHL chainsaw by scraping it off with the metal blade of the groove scraper and brushing off the loose dirt with the plastic bristles of the cleaning brush. Then spray each part with the specially developed universal cleaning agent STIHL VarioClean Eco, which consists of 92% natural ingredients. This Ecocert-certified ecological cleaner cleans all plastic, metal (iron or aluminium), rubber, or even painted surfaces quickly, effectively, and gently. When you spray the product on the saw chain, bar, or housing, oil, grease, resin, and organic dirt are released immediately. You can also use the microfiber laundry bag as a glove for extra help during cleaning. Then rinse the various parts with water.

The microfiber washing bag makes cleaning your chainsaw’s HD2 air filter particularly easy: Let STIHL VarioClean Eco work for a while. Then put the filter in the washing bag and rinse with warm water or wash in the washing machine at 60 °C, for example, with your reflective trousers with STIHL Protect MS cut protection.
